What is Dye Sublimation? Dye sublimation is the process where images are transferred to a substrate, like fabric, with a system of using heat and pressure. This system turns the pigments used to create the images into gas which permeates the substrate and created a permanent bond.

What are the benefits of dye sublimation? "The" most important benefit is low cost. Set-up costs for dye sublimation are low, if any, compared to other methods of imprinting. No minimum order and low set-up costs make dye sublimation the way to go when full color and low quantities are required. Another benefit is quality. Because the image bonds to the fabric it will never crack or peel off. One of the most important reasons for considering fabric is its portability. Fabric can be folded and transported with ease. Any wrinkles can be streamed out with a hand held steamer or just throw the banner in a dryer for a few minutes.

Fabric Options

Poly Poplin
This waterproof polyester fabric is excellent for indoor and outdoor banners. It's offers great color and is waterproof, scratch resistant, and has a high tear strength. It can be sewn and grommeted. Approximate outdoor longevity of 3-6 months, and indoor longevity of 5-10 years.

Bridal Satin
This semi-sheer material is a great solution for creating cost-effective soft banners. It offers a water resistant finish, has a high tear strength, excellent color depth and backlights very well. Approximate longevity of 6 months to ten years, depending on UV exposure.

Sarga
This cotton like fabric banner material is excellent for banners, trade show exhibits, podium signage, table cloths, flags, curtains, and window displays. The image is scratch resistant and waterproof. longevity of 5-10 years indoors.

Chiffon
This 100% Crepe de Chine woven fabric is great for banners, flags, exhibits, fashion design, and other soft signage. The print shows through up to 90% on the back side for a double sided look.

Silver
This 100% polyester fabric has excellent color depth and saturation. It's great for banners, tents, umbrellas, shower curtains and other soft signage and it also meets NFPA-701 flame resistance standards. The image is waterproof and can be used outdoors. Indoor longevity approx. 5-10 years indoors.

Canvas
This waterproof canvas is great for art reproductions, photos on canvas, murals, indoor or outdoor hanging banners or point of purchase displays. Can be sewn and grommeted. Approx. longevity: 5 years indoors

DTS
This 100% polyester fabric banner material is very thick, making it perfect for two sided banners, trade show exhibits, podium signage, table cloths, flags and window displays. It is heavy enough to be used outdoors and can be sewn and grommeted.

Dartef
This waterproof polyester fabric is excellent for indoor and outdoor banners. It's offers great color and is waterproof, scratch resistant, and has a high tear strength. It can be sewn and grommeted. Approximate outdoor longevity of 3-6 months, and indoor longevity of 5-10 years

Gaming Suede
This synthetic fabric is as versatile as it is beautiful. It is excellent for a wide variety of applications including banners, tablecloths, flags, curtains, maps and retail displays. It is specially woven to eliminate fraying without requiring hemming, but can be sewn and grommeted. It is stain resistant, waterproof and fire retardant, so its uses are limited only by your imagination. Indoor longevity of 5-20 years, outdoor longevity of 6 months to 3 years.

TXD
This synthetic fabric is as versatile as it is beautiful. It is excellent for a wide variety of applications including banners, tablecloths, flags, curtains, maps and retail displays. It is specially woven to eliminate fraying without requiring hemming, but can be sewn and grommeted. It is stain resistant, waterproof, so its uses are limited only by your imagination.

Finishing Options
All banners are hemmed with 4 grommets or two pole pockets at no extra cost.
